Obituary for Jack Eldred Mueller

Jack Eldred  Mueller
Jack E. Mueller, 89, of Sheboygan, died on Friday evening, February 10, 2017 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice Center in Sheboygan Falls.
Jack was born on July 4, 1927 in Milwaukee, the son of the late Harry and Irene (Mack) Mueller. Jack graduated from Rufus King High School in Milwaukee in 1945 and then attended Marquette University and St. Mary College in Winona, MN. Jack served in the US Navy Air Corps from 1945-46. On August 6, 1949 he married Jean Currie in Milwaukee. Jean preceded him in death on May 22, 1988 following 38 years of marriage. Jack was a packaging designer for Georgia-Pacific for ten years prior to his retirement in 2007. Previously he worked for the Mayline Co. for 13 years.
Jack was a member of the St. Peter Episcopal Church in Sheboygan Falls. He enjoyed golf, bowling, football, gardening, ceramics, aviation and the EAA, bald eagles, music and traveling. He built models and made picture frames and golf clubs. Foremost though, he loved Mickey Mouse and anything Disney. He cherished the time he could spend with his family and friends.
Jack is survived by one daughter, Patricia (Jim) Stahlkopf of Sobieski; three sons, Bradford Mueller of the Villages, FL, Richard (Jina) Mueller of Portage, and Robert (Michele) Mueller of Port Washington; eight grandchildren, Sarah (Michael) Collins, Matthew (Lisa) Mueller, Jennifer (Chris) Conrad, Kelsey (Patrick) Gray, Samuel (Anthony Carter-Erb) Mueller, Shannon Mueller, Jacob Mueller and Noah Mueller; nine great grandchildren; and one niece, Jill (Larry) Wolfe of Milwaukee.
Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; and one brother, Harry (Verona) Mueller.
A funeral to celebrate Jack’s life will take place at the St. Peter Episcopal Church in Sheboygan Falls on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at 11 am with Fr. John Stroop officiating. Entombment and military honors will follow at the Garden Terrace Mausoleum in Sheboygan.
Family and friends will gather at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 am until the time of the service at 11 am.
