Obituary for Patricia Makoutz

Patricia  Makoutz
Patricia V. Makoutz, 89, of Oostburg, died on Friday evening, February 10, 2017 at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice Center in Sheboygan Falls.
Patricia was born on April 23, 1927 in Appleton, the daughter of George and Irene (Paradise) Filz. She graduated from Rufus King High School in 1945. On February 7, 1948 Patricia married Harry Makoutz in Milwaukee.
Patricia was a member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls and the Northshore Women’s Aglow. She enjoyed making crafts using pine cones, bird watching, fishing, ceramics, and cake decorating. Patricia’s faith was of the utmost priority and value in her life. She read her Bible and had devotions with her husband each morning.
Patricia is survived by her husband of 69 years, Harry of Oostburg; two daughters, Kathy (Ron) Hansen of Oostburg and Karen Makoutz of Port Washington; three sons, Glenn (Remedios) Makoutz of Saukville, Dennis (Julie) Makoutz of Millville, MN, and Jeff (Terri) Makoutz of Sparks, NV; 19 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and one brother-in-law, Frank Lasa of East Brunswick, NJ.
Patricia was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Mike Rowe; four sisters, Valerie (Roy) Kohls, Chadynne Laza, Marie (Vere) Smith, and Donna (Ken) Roets; and one brother, George (Alice) Filz.
A memorial service to celebrate Patricia’s life will take place at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at 2 pm with the Rev. Bob Lotz officiating.
Family and friends will gather at church on Sunday from 1 pm until the time of the Mass at 2pm.
A memorial fund is being established in her memory for the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice Center.
