Obituary for Glenn Bermand Koopman

Glenn Bermand  Koopman
Glenn Koopman, 57, of Sheboygan, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at his residence.
Glenn was born on August 12, 1959 in Shawano to Raymond and Carol (Hackbarth) Koopman. He attended Cedar Grove High School. Glenn served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He worked in the factory at Am Cast.
Glenn was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and bicycling, you would see him putting on hundreds of miles yearly, and he loved spending time with his family. Glenn had a huge heart and was always willing to help out anyone he could.
Glenn is survived by one daughter, Kaitlin Koopman of Milwaukee; one sister, Cathy (Cory) Wiedemeyer of Kewaskum; six brothers, Raymond Jr. (Beth) of Campbellsport, Kenneth (fiancé Luann) of Sheboygan, Randall (Nancy) of Oostburg, Jeffrey (girlfriend Angela) of Cedar Grove, Steven of Oostburg and Keith (Shelly) of Cedar Grove. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, aunts and uncles.
A funeral service to celebrate Glenn’s life will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg at 6pm with Rev. John Tinsley officiating. The family is encouraging Green Bay Packer attire. Burial will be at Oostburg Cemetery in town Holland.
Relatives and friends may greet the family on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at the funeral home from 4pm until the time of service at 6pm.
A memorial fund is being established in Glenn’s name.
