Alice M. Champeau, 58, of Sheboygan, passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2015, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice Center in Sheboygan Falls..
Alice was born on May 19, 1957, is Milwaukee, daughter of the late Roland and Ruth (Merz) Klapperich. She received her Bachelor’s degree from UW-Milwaukee and her Master’s degree from Liberty University. On July 22, 1994, she married Ronald Champeau in Sheboygan. Alice was employed as an accountant for various companies.
Alice was a member of Remedy Church in Sheboygan. She was an active volunteer for the Angel Tree Project, Good News Jail Ministry, and the Salvation Army. Alice enjoyed camping, kayaking, traveling, walks, playing cards, and cross stitch.
Alice is survived by her husband of 21 years, Ronald; her step daughter, Susan Vowell of Appleton; two step-sons, Dennis Champeau of Sheboygan and Ronald Champeau Jr. of Ohio; three step-grandchildren, Matthew (Renee) Foley, Ben Champeau, and Sylvester Wilson; her aunt, Alice Jamosky of Cedar Rapids, IA; and two cousins, Valerie (Bob) Leonard of Denver, CO and Michael Jamosky of Cedar Rapids, IA.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, uncles, and aunts.
Funeral services to celebrate Alice’s life will be held at 5:00 pm on Saturday, October 24, 2015, at the Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg with Rev. Robert Abel officiating. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until the time of the service at 5:00 pm.
A memorial fund has been established in Alice’s name for the Good News Jail Ministry.

The Champeau family would like to extend their appreciation to the staffs at Matthews Oncology and the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice for the dedicated care shown to Alice and their family.
