The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Edgar Collins can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Phil and Elaine Anderson
Condolence: What a friend we've lost! Ed and I grew up in neighboring schools, but we played summer baseball and basketball together for years. We took swimming lessons together. We stayed at each other's home overnight. We went to Wilmington College together. Ed and Carma and Elaine and I played cards and ate pizza when we were young. Ed was in our wedding. We traveled with Ed and Carma and 2 other classmates from college that roomed together, back in the 50's. Back in the day, Ed was an outstanding baseball and basketball player, and was so competitive. I know how crazy he was about Carma and his family. They were everything to him. There was really nothing Ed and I couldn't talk about. I hope and believe Ed and Carma are together. I'll miss my old "roomie".

Condolence: Tim and Dave you were blessed to have had such amazing parents. They exemplified what it meant to "be there" for their children and grandchildren. They always made my kids feel like they were part of the family and I know Ed had a soft spot in his heart for Erik. I am so happy that I was able to see Ed this summer and give him a hug. I know he missed Carma and have a vision of them together again in my mind and heart. Much love, Kath

Condolence: To the family of Ed--
Ed not only was a mentor to me and an encouraging person in my career, but he and Carma became our neighbors and friends.
I will never forget the many days Ed sat on his front step with our youngest daughter sharing crackers and watching her kill ants ( if I know Ed he was probably asking her all kinds of questions too).
You have our deepest sympathy. He will be missed.
