The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Chaltry can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Dear Paula and family

So sorry to hear of your loss. Jim43 was always so upbeat and jovial when he would deliver Avon to us in oral surgery. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: When I first heard the news of Jimmy's passing, I was in shock. Jimmy and I ran that Kohler yard on second shift like a clock. We were an awesome team and he was an awesome partner. When I chose to move on from that position the hardest and saddest part is that we wouldn't work together anymore. His constant smile, always infectious personality, and his ability to make even your worst day fun will truly be missed. I remember when I asked him to check out my boat and he said he'd love too (plus give me some fishing pointers), so I had the boat ready and when Jimmy was about to board he slipped a bit and barrel rolled into the boat. He was so mad but ten minutes later it was hilarious. I could go on and on, but he was truly an awesome friend and coworker and I will miss him dearly. My condolences to Paula and the family for if I loved him so much I can't even imagine the pain you feel. May God take you into his arms my friend and bring you peace.

Condolence: I have worked with Jimmy in the Kohler Distribution Center since he became a spotter for us. We spent many days joking around in the lunchroom on our breaks and when he would struggle to get a trailer door closed. He was always on the go but had time for a shout out when he would see you. He will be deeply missed by all of us who had the pleasure of knowing him at Kohler. Watching a trailer getting put into the dock without Jimmy behind the wheel of that truck will take some getting used to. My deepest sympathies to the family and know Jimmy will never be forgotten here at Kohler. RIP Jimmy
