Clyde Bernard  Nonhof
Clyde B. Nonhof, 79, of Sheboygan Falls died on Saturday morning, December 6, 2014 at Rocky Knoll Health Center.
Clyde was born on June 12, 1935 in Sheboygan, the son of Bernard and Martha (Claussen) Nonhof. Clyde attended Waldo High School and then served in the US Army from 1961-62 and the National Guard for eight years. On June 4, 1960 Clyde married Virginia Manderle in Iowa. Clyde worked as an iron hauler for the Kohler Co. for 43 years before his retirement in 1998.
He was a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club and enjoyed bowling, dancing and old cars.
Clyde is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ginny; two sons, Kevin (Joanne) Nonhof of Sheboygan and Chad (friend Kathy) Nonhof of Sheboygan Falls; two grandchildren, Hayleigh Nonhof and Cristina (Kevin) Phillips; two great grandchildren, Annebelle Kelm and Glenn Phillips; one brother, Ronald (Marliss) Nonhof of Waldo; one sister-in-law, Jeanne Nonhof of Plymouth; three brothers-in-law, Edward (Helen) Manderle of Plymouth, Barry (Kathy) Manderle of Sheboygan, and Bruce Manderle of Fond du Lac. Clyde is also survived by nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Clyde was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son, Eugene Nonhof; an infant sister, Caroline Nonhof; one brother, Wayne Nonhof; and one brother-in-law, Gilbert (Rosemarie) Manderle.
A funeral to celebrate Clyde’s life will take place at the Wenig Funeral Home in Sheboygan Falls on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at 10 am with Chaplain Nancy Simenz officiating. Burial and Military Honors will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in the Town of Sheboygan.
Family and friends will gather at the Wenig Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-7, and on Wednesday from 9 am until the time of the service at 10 am.

The Nonhof family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Brauer and his nurse Joyce, Drs. Coulis, Bettag and Deshpande, the staffs at St. Nicholas Home Health Care and Hospice, and Rocky Knoll for the loving and dedicated care given to Clyde and their family.
