Arthur Harvey  Fischer
Arthur H. Fischer, 76, of Oostburg passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at his home.
Arthur was born on March 2, 1941 in Sheboygan to Charles and Mary (Kieffer) Fischer. He was a 1959 graduate of Port Washington High School. Arthur owned and operated American Tree Speciality from 1972-2009.
Arthur was a member of St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Batavia. Arthur enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing cards.
Arthur is survived by his two daughters, Beth (Joe) Clark of Glenbeulah and Kris (Shawn) Hannon of Franksville; three grandchildren, Nicholas Clark, Lijah and Sam Hannon; and two brothers, Richard (Patti) Fischer of Montana and Allan (Anette) Fischer of Oregon. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Arthur was preceded in death by his parents; one infant granddaughter, Adrianna Hannon and one sister, Doris (Charlie) Vaidya.
A funeral service to celebrate Arthur’s life will be held on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 2pm at St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Batavia with Rev. Brian Krueger officiating. Burial will be at Union Cemetery in Port Washington.
Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at the church from 12pm until the time of service at 2pm.
A memorial fund is being established for St. Stephen Lutheran Church in Arthur’s memory.
